An active (running) customer is one who still has an outstanding installment account with you. Once an account is fully paid, cancelled, or closed, it stops counting toward your tier. Cash sale customers are not counted at all, so a busy POS counter never pushes you into a higher plan.

It is genuinely free, not a countdown trial. A single business inside the free tier shown in the table above uses Instalify at no cost, with the same modules as a paid plan. You only start paying once your active customer count grows past that tier — which means the system pays for itself out of business you have already written.

Monthly billing is per branch: each branch is placed in the tier that matches its own active customer count, so a small new branch is not charged at your main branch's rate. Yearly billing removes tiers altogether and charges one flat rate per running account per month across the whole business.

Yearly is cheaper for most established businesses with steady account volume, because the flat per-account rate works out below the monthly tier price once you are consistently in the middle or upper tiers. Monthly suits businesses whose active customer count still moves a lot month to month, since you drop to a lower tier automatically in a slow month.

No. Every plan, including the free one, includes all nine modules — installment and lease sales, recovery, cash sale POS, inventory with IMEI and serial tracking, double-entry accounting, customer clearance, multi-branch management, reporting, and role-based access. The plan changes what you pay, never what you can do.

Your tier is read from the active account count for that billing period, so it follows your business rather than a figure you fixed at signup. Growing into a higher tier moves you up from the next cycle, and closing out accounts moves you back down the same way — there is no lock-in to a tier you have outgrown or fallen below.
